Just a quick one for this week as hopefully you’re all having a break like we are!
As we embrace the New Year and all its possibilities you might be thinking about writing down your goals. As you know if you’re a regular reader, a goal written down is three times more likely to be achieved than one which isn’t. The same applies for New Year’s resolutions so it’s a timely reminder for you to write your goals down and follow these 7 golden rules to make sure you achieve them!
- Goals are expressed in the positive
- Make the goal specific
- Decide how you will get evidence & feedback for achievement
- Marshall your resources
- Be proactive
- Pay attention to the wider consequences
- Make an action plan
Our Marketing Manager Michelle wrote her goals down for 2016 on her Facebook page. “I wrote seven goals on seven days and it was amazing how it really refined my ideas and opened up opportunities for 2016.
“I really enjoyed sharing my goals with my friends and colleagues and I believe that writing and sharing my goals made me much more likely to achieve them with the help of my support network.”
So, get thinking about what you want to achieve for 2016 and make sure you write your goals down – the first step to a winning year of prosperity and growth for you and your business.
Regards and a Happy New Year,
